| Ian Somerhalder promoting new Graziela Gems Collection |
Ian Somerhalder keeps fighting the good fight. The Vampire Diaries actor, famous for his struggle to raise awareness on animal rights and environmental issues, recently took to Instagram to promote the new Graziela Gems Collection, a line of jewelry created by designer Graziela Kaufman and inspired by none other than Ian’s wife, Twilight actress Nikki Reed. According to the actor, who posted a photo of himself wearing a ring and two beaded bracelets, 60% of the proceedings will go to the Ian Somerhalder Foundation.
He wrote next to the photo: “Wow! It’s finally here! The amazing @grazielagems designed a line of jewelry with…drum roll please…60% of the purchase price going to ISF!!! I literally haven’t taken off this ring since December when her and my beautiful wife designed this for my birthday, as well as these bracelets inspired by the animals we all love and want to protect. In case you were curious, the ring on Ian’s finger is a Turquoise Talon Ring, featuring a sterling silver band with dark rhodium accents, and it was designed especially for the actor. In fact, it’s called Ian’s Favorite Talon Ring. As for the bracelets, they’re made of natural gemstone beads, with sterling silver wing and horseshoe charms with dark rhodium accents.
